Dr. Gina Rohekar - ST JOESPH'S HOSPITAL

I'm very thankful for Dr Gina, after many years of pain and unsure diagnosis she is the one that figured out what has been happening to my body, without her persistence to have me tested for a rare disease I would likely not be walking anymore, I have a young family and am only 42.

Dr. Rohekar is one of the best human beings I have ever met. Moreover, its not just that she figured out what was wrong with me; she is knowledgable, compassionate and very caring. I feel so very fortunate I have her as my Doctor. I thank you Dr. Rohekar for becoming a Doctor and Rheumatologist. I would also like to thank your parents for having you and making such an awesome person.

After years with a TERRIBLE rheumatologist in Ottawa (who has since retired, thankfully), I moved to London and was referred to Dr. Gina. It was an absolute night and day situation. This is a Dr. who listens, and is proactive with treatment. I cannot overstate how invaluable that is. She sets realistic expectations and lays info out in black and white. Sometimes that info isn't easy to hear, but that's life. She's not a miracle worker, but she is a very good rheumatologist.
