Always friendly and helpful. The urgent care clinics are carrying a lot of the weight of our burdened health care system. With no family doctor they have provided the majority of care we have received in the last five years.

Such a caring group of doctors and staff. I hurt my foot after a bad fall. I got an appt same day I called , saw dr, got X-ray , dr called the same day to advise me I had a fracture. Had a follow-up in for some paperwork I needed. I had a great experience. Thanks a million.

I had to be treated at North Quadra Urgent Care. The staff and Dr was very nice, knowledgeable, compassionate, and efficient. Highly recommend!

DOWNTOWN VICTORIA URGENT AND PRIMARY CARE CENTRE REVIEWS

It was pretty hard to get through to them but it’s still one of the only clinics in Victoria who will eventually pick up and find an appointment for you. Anyway, the reason I’m writing this review is to thank Dr. Cooze for his incredible work. He was considerate, friendly and helpful. Despite working in a stressful environment with high volume of patients he took time to listen to my concerns and provided me with the instructions on what to do next. The clinic is also very clean, modern and beautiful. I felt comfortable in this setting.

This afternoon two nurses pulled a quarter inch sliver out of my 3.5 year old daughters foot after we left the beach. I called at 3:30pm and we had an appointment within minutes for 4:15pm. We left urgent care at 5pm after the incredible team took quick, diligent care of our less than cooperative little girl! She left with a juice box and lolly in hand like nothing had ever happened; reccomend!

I am so thankful to be a patient at this clinic. The staff are busy, yet take the time to call with lab results and special authority request results. The doctors take the time if I have more than one issue to listen and treat me like a whole person rather than focus on isolated parts of my being. Yes, it is hard to get through on the phone sometimes and that is frustrating, but the thorough and thoughtful care I receive is stellar.

I had one of the best experiences I’ve had in a healthcare setting at the James Bay Urgent Care over the long weekend. Leah (I hope I spelled that correctly), the RN was so knowledgeable, personable and kind and it truly made the experience so much easier. VIHA is lucky to have someone like her on their team as well as any patients that get to see her!

10/10 experience at this place. Clean and well lit with exceptionally friendly staff. Front desk, nurse, and doctor were all fantastic. They even gave me a ginger ale when I mentioned I was feeling nauseous. Would recommend to all my family and friends. They do operate by appointments only so make sure to call as soon as they are open to schedule one.

My young child had a head laceration that needed suturing. This happened an hour before they closed. We called and they said to come on in. Excellent nursing care and the physician was prompt and responsive. Urgent care is a great option between waiting to a walk in clinic and going to the ER.
