Modo Yoga Markham

Moksha Yoga Markham has gone above and beyond to become and remain as the best yoga studio in Markham. The facility is constantly being cleaned in between the classes. Considering how much sweating goes on, this is particularly important to maintain proper cleanliness. Unlike the typical changeroom, the ones at this studio are spa-like. All this aside, the most important aspects are the staff and the availability of classes. All the teachers are great, and they have a lot of class times. There is even a class at 9:45pm, which accomodates people like me who finish work late. High recommendations for this place.

I’m so glad I was introduced to this lovely studio. Their classes are super effective and well structured, focusing not only on strengthening your body, but also talk about the essence of yoga philosophy. In my first intro month, I attended 15 classes, my body got stronger and more fit, I used to have pretty weak arms, but by today I can do chaturanga really well, and even a colleague of mine asked if I lost weight. What’s even greater than the changes in my body, is the better mind state yoga and meditation gave me. I’m so thankful I’ve found this community and I will definitely continue to practice with Modo yoga.

I go to both the hot yoga class and barre class here, which are suitable for beginners like me. I love how there are so many possible timings for classes so it's not difficult to fit exercise in my busy work week. All the staff here are nice and encouraging, so you really feel welcome right when you enter.
