“Andy's House Treatment Centre's mission is to align themselves with local community organizations that are working to solve both the immediate and long-term needs of at-risk youth, the Indigenous community, and adults struggling with mental health issues, homelessness, and/or substance use disorders. They have years of experience. Andy's House is a non-medical facility offering addiction recovery services to its residents through combined treatment approaches such as the Minnesota 12-Step Model, Systemic Treatment Approaches, appropriate recreational and fitness activities, and a variety of therapeutic groups, including psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioural, problem-solving, and interpersonal groups. They provide a two-year aftercare program, a weekly family support group, and an open-door policy. Their unique treatment approach is based on the understanding that drug and alcohol dependence is best treated when the complexity of the condition is acknowledged.

2025 Update: The center provides a 90-day residential addiction treatment Program and a 35-day residential program followed by a 16-week intensive outpatient program.”

My experience with the staff at Andy’s House was very helpful and healing. I learned a lot about my character during my three month stay. The counselors taught me how to cope with getting sober and remaining sober. There were some amazing group activities like art therapy, yoga and going to the gym. I had daily discussions with my counselor to help me find solutions for staying on a sober path….

My husband went to Andy’s House in September of 2020 and for me, it was the moment I had always hoped for. We had lived in chaos for so, so many years and finally, finally we were reaching out for help. Our relationship was hanging by a thread and we were both physically and mentally exhausted. I guess you can say, we had both reached rock bottom….

As the addiction progressed, it became harder for him to hide. He had become a master of deception, and although I had my suspicions, I didn’t have any proof. In retrospect, it was clear as day. I eventually lost all interest in living that way with him, always worrying if he would return and managing his life without him. So, I told him he better find help or I would be gone….

Un endroit chaleureux avec un bon personnel autant les professionnels que les bénévoles. Services offert pour différentes dépendances tel que les drogues, l'alcool,le jeu compulsif. Il y a des services en thérapie interne et aussi a l'externe. Un endroit ou l'espoir est présent ainsi aue le rétablissement est enfin possible pour quelqu' un qui a le désire.

J ai fait la formation de la Maison pour aider les familles et l'entourage de personnes alcooliques ou toxicomanes appelé le "PAFE" Ceci fut la plus grande libération de toute ma vie ! Merci Jean Lapointe pour votre oeuvre et à vous belle équipe de soutien d'être là pour nous.

I would recommend M.J.L to anyone in need in a heartbeat! However, if your not serious about your own rehabilitation it would be a difficult journey. It is to the core, professional, structured and balanced. Time has proven it's success.... 40years and counting.

EHN NOUVEAU DÉPART MONTRÉAL REVIEWS

I did the 12 step program with Edgewood in 2022, it was ok (religious, traditional and very substance oriented). I just finished last week a 6 weeks program with Nouveau Depart and boy was it different, we don't talk about the substances, this has everything to do with destructive behaviors and patterns that we ourselves adopted from a young age to the present day. I would recommend Nouveau Depart to anyone that is serious about changing ones lifestyle. Amazing staff. Thank you EHN Nouveau Depart for the tools to help me go through life one step at a time.

I’m an English speaking Quebecer, and they did group therapy in English and in French and made sure I understood everything. I only have the best of the best things to say about Nouveau Depart. I will always be grateful to them. The staff are angels and they see the person behind the hurt. I truly am baffled by the bad reviews.

This place, honestly, save my life. The specialists who work here are very interest in your rehabilitation. They are dedicated. The food is incredible. I have one word…tanks
