Brentwood is a very special place, and is held in the highest esteem in my family! My loved one attended the 90 day program and has transformed in so many wonderful ways, it is truly a blessed place! The program teaches so many valuable life lessons, and shows them a whole new way of life every day. They are given responsibility, taught to be accountable for their actions, they have to follow rules, learn to become part of a group, become connected to strangers, and they leave having made true and deep relationships with many of their program mates. There should be more Brentwood's, though I don't know if the magic can be duplicated, as I think it stems from the founder, the late Fr. Paul Charbonneau. Also the Group Leaders are one of a kind at Brentwood! Thank you Brentwood and staff for all you do for those struggling with addiction, who come to you for help.

I am a recent graduate of the 90 day program and it has changed my life. I walked in with alot of baggage and the counselors, alumni and fellow alcoholics really helped me deal with my struggles in life. They gave me program a fellowship to reach out to everyday. Even through covid they have two sometimes 3 zoom meetings a day to help you open up about what's going on. If you are looking to kick an addiction I highly recommend Brentwood. Being 30 years old it's never to late and never to early to reclaime your life your missing out on.

The program is hard but effective and caring. The fellowship during and after the program is magnificent and loving, now I am part of it. My whole family has been positively affected by me being part of the women's support group and then going through program 30 years ago this year. Before Covid we had wonderful family events at Brentwood that we are hoping to have again soon. Have to go, on my way there now.

I went into the program at House of Sophrosyne in 2020 and was completely lost. Upon arrival the staff made me feel extremely welcomed and helped me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the programming and activities. The food was incredible and had learned so much during my stay. I unfortunately wasn’t able to complete the program due to issues arising during the program, the experience of trying to leave was rocky but was eventually figured out. I did however have some issues with the staff while they were discharging me. Once things got tough emotionally most of the staff are pretty good at assisting the experience was necessary in my recovery! I was a lost soul and with the knowledge and skills i did gain, even without completing the program I learned how to manage my problems in a healthy way and have really grown into a better, stronger version of myself! I honestly wouldn’t be where i am today living my best life as my best self without the help from the House of Sophrosyne! I highly recommend going into the program with an open mind and a will to better yourself and to aid with the healing process!.

Hi everyone, May 6 was my 10 month anniversary and without House of Sophrosyne I'm not sure where i would be, I gained my dad's respect and yesterday he told me how proud he was of me and i'm a fighter and my son told me same thing. I even told my union to send females here to get treatment, hi everyone July 6 I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary. Thank you so much for caring and helping me.

This place saved my life... waaaay back in 1991. I was there, did programming for 9 months. Fresh off Toronto streets, i was a trafficked child, didn't know i would live to my age currently of 50. It's all because of Toni, and Kathy, and the Cook lol.
