JOHN RUSSELL

301-6411 Nelson Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 4H3 Directions

Since 1991

Here’s The Deal:
"
John Russell has completed five years of study at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. He provides a natural medicine that aims to restore function in the body by treating the causes of pain and imbalance. John uses their vast knowledge of human anatomy to feel or sense where imbalances or restrictions may be present. Once an abnormality is noted, treatment is then discussed and may include techniques such as soft tissue stretching, which increases blood flow and flexibility; mobilizing joints through their range-of-motion; and muscle energy, which releases muscle tightness by the method of stretching and pushing against some resistance. John uses several manual therapy techniques designed to restore soft tissue function, spinal alignment, and joint function. As well, each patient is instructed to perform an individualized progressive home exercise program."
