I am so very thankful for how quickly the Amica Swan Lake staff responded to our urgent request for help for my mother. Although she was on the waiting list for a permanent room, after two falls within one week, it was far too unsafe for her to live on her own any longer. They were able to take her in as a short stay resident to help her recover from her falls, with the hope that her permanent room will be available soon. It is such a wonderful peace of mind to know that she has the care she needs 24 x 7. At almost 91, this was a very difficult move for her, but the Amica staff were so welcoming, which made her transition much easier. This is only her second week there, but she is settling in very well. She loves the food, and she is very comfortable in her room. She keeps telling me that the people are so good to her. The location of Amica Swan Lake is absolutely beautiful!!

We have recently moved our mother into Amica Swan Lake and the experience so far has been wonderful. There is a culture of friendliness and care that extends from the management to the staff that has made this transition so much easier than we expected. After some expected hesitation about leaving her residence, our mother is now telling her friends about how pleased she is with her new “home”.

The staff is very caring and their building shape allows for social distancing outdoors.

Chartwell Rouge Valley has been a wonderful place for our beloved family member. Although we’ve been here for just about a year, in that time we have found the level of care to be exceptional! The staff have been kind, caring, and helpful. The facilities are comfortable and convenient, with a beautiful outdoor seating area. The food freshly made and a good variety. The management team has been approachable and truly care about the residents and their family members, always making time for them. Lastly, the residents have been wonderful and kind to new residents welcoming them openly. Overall, we have had a wonderful experience with Chartwell Rouge Valley so far and would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

Everything is perfect. All foods are good, especially the Chinese fried rice. Deborah and Margaret, the two dietary aids, are excellent. I enjoyed every meals here. Elton, the GM, is helpful and very caring!

All staff are nice and helpful. My dad just moved in about one week. He doesn't know English, but he got their help and quickly adapted to live there. We are very grateful to everyone who worked in there.
