“Direction 180 is a non-profit, community-based opioid treatment program. They have been working with people who use substances (PWUS) since 2001. Their mission is to reduce the inherent risks associated with opioid use disorder (OUD) and intravenous drug use (IDU), including decreasing the spread of blood-borne infections such as HIV, hepatitis C (HCV), hepatitis A (HAV), and hepatitis B (HBV). They provide comprehensive care to clients to improve their quality of life, living conditions, mental and psychological well-being, and physical health. Direction 180 has developed and implemented over 50 health promotion and research initiatives aimed at improving health and social outcomes for people who use substances.
