3 Best Addiction Treatment Centers in Halifax, NS

I Had a great experience here, small house, max of 16 people at a time or something like that. You really get to know the people you’re there with & make friends along the way. Food was awesome, there was absolutely no way you could go hungry, so much food. Spent 5 days at Bellwood Toronto for detox, then flew out here. I loved the outdoor space they have, lots of trails to walk, a waterfall close by, the pond (super cold if you decide to jump in). I think the group size & the staff really set this place apart & kinda make it feel like home. Still sober more than 6 months after leaving so I guess it worked. Thanks Ledgehill.

When I arrived at Ledgehill, to be honest, I didn't think I would be able to last the entire 50 days. I was depressed and my life was a mess and I was barely hanging on. Ledgehill was not initially what I had expected, however, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and encouragement of the Nurses, Counsellors, and staff who believed in me. I left a completely different person, with a new outlook on life, a sober life! Thank you. It was never easy, but definitely worth every single moment.

I entered the doors of Ledgehill with one thing on my mind: I needed help & I wanted to get better. The entire 7 week treatment program left me leaving content, much more aware of who I am as a person & ready to face the realities of life—sober. I got great psychiatric care, personal therapy, and group programs that made me feel connected to others. The spiritual guidance was so helpful, and I loved the delicious food they served! The staff, Dr, psychologist and owners of this facility saved my life. This place gives you a holistic treatment plan tailored to your needs no matter what those needs may be. They continue to care for me long after I have left. Terradyne (at the new location) was a fantastic support to help me recover. The staff is fantastic and they truly care. The owners are the operators and that makes them much more caring, personalized and understanding, in my view. From intake, inpatient to outpatient I found their program really impactful and personalized. I wouldn't have been able to quit without them.
