I've been going there since February. I started going for deep tissue massage; due to a fall at work, and I kinda just stayed on after everything healed. My massage therapists were always very kind and respectful, and really helped to make me feel safe on the table (I have PTSD and being half naked on a table is never... The best experience, for someone like me). The receptionists are always kind and helpful and whenever I make a mistake with booking, help me right away. I primarily go for osteopath treatments now because of their recommendations, but also because I've noticed a huge difference in my life since starting that form of treatment. I trust Matt implisently, he makes the quiet feel safe again.

Had an amazing experience at Massage Experts Halifax with Mackenzie! Front staff extremely welcoming and kind. RMT professional & makes you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend, I have had a lot of previous injuries that bother me daily which she addressed in a therapeutic but relaxing way. Feeling 10x better leaving the appointment Will be back!

The Young St, Halifax location is top notch for therapeutic massage. Manager Dana ensures a quality experience and clean, comfortable rooms. RMT Taylor Morrison uses his knowledge, skill, and dedication to his profession to effectively treat any issue. I can't speak for other Massage Experts locations, but this one rates high!

One of the best in the city. I have tried different places in HRM and by far Urban Retreat was one of a kind experience. Very welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Clean and no hygiene concerns. Amanda is something else! An expert by definition, quite, respectful and is definitely recommended. Time & money well spent and well deserved 5 stars rating.

Tara is incredible! She uses just the right amount of pressure and knows all the right spots to focus on. She has a remarkable ability to help you feel at ease and able to relax completely into the massage experience. I will not get massages from anyone else moving forward!

Today was my first session with Sarah, having been referred from my physio. I was nervous as I have very specific issues and she was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I rebooked for two more appointments and will very likely keep going to her for tune ups!

Great experience!! They ask you take off your shoes when you come in and I thought that made it feel very homey and safe. The massage was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had many. I really liked the uses of different techniques and felt like my problem areas were truly focused on. Thank you so much!!
