Superb place for glasses and eyewear. From the second I walked into the door until the time I received my new glasses I had a great experience. I was warmly welcomed by Paul when I first entered the shop. On a Saturday afternoon he spent over half an hour with me as I selected a new pair of frames. He was not only able to answer my aesthetic questions, he was able to explain how my eye prescription worked, as well as how the actual construction of the glasses themselves took place. Very professional and excellent service. Highly recommended.

YKN is an amazing shop! Got my new frames from here. Mr. Paul was really helpful and is an expert. It feels different when you have the owners themselves being part of the business and helping you out with your purchase. We need more people like Mr. Paul. Amazing buying experience, good prices, friendly and really helpful with making the right choice! If you're in Halifax and needs a new pair of glasses definitely check out YKN! Highly recommended.

Been to a couple in Vancouver and Toronto, but YKN is hands down leagues above the others. Very reasonable prices, amazing expertise, and great service. And when I say service, I mean this is the only shop that was willing to provide me solutions. They saved 2 pairs of my glasses.

Had an eye exam with Dr. Ashley who explained every step of the exam and the problems I was having with my eyes. She is so friendly, patient and knowlegeable. Picking out frames was the best experience I've ever had. I was thinking I would have a problem finding a pair I liked but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the huge selection they have. Everyone was so great at helping me pick a pair and made it such a fun experience!

Super happy with the service from Luke. The store has a large amount of frames to choose from and Luke was very helpful guiding me to what I needed and giving great advice. Prices are very good as well! I highly recommend!!

Friendly staff, great selection of different styles, and at affordable prices. Optical Warehouse is a must visit if you’re somebody looking for glasses or prescription sunglasses. It’s not at the most convenient location if you don’t have a car, but it’s a great store to visit if you’re put off by the high prices that some optical stores will charge for basic frames that don’t even come with lenses. Be sure to check the store hours before going as they close at 5 pm on all days except for Wed and Thu and closed on Sun and Mon.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for both quality and aesthetic! The service was great too, friendly, helpful, and professional.
