3 Best Addiction Treatment Centers in Ottawa, ON

My Husband and I have been apart of the program at the Ottawa West OATC for over 2 years now, and we are beyond grateful for the progress it has given us in our recovery’s. Since becoming a part of the program, we have met many staff members, nurses & Doctors.. who have all been great. Colleen & Tanisha specifically, who work the front have been beyond wonderful, they are just lovely people in general, and they always make it enjoyable to come in for our weekly visits to the clinic. After over 2 years of treatment, I’m happy to say we’re officially weening off our medications, and with the help of all the supportive staff.. we have had a successful road to recovery! If you’re looking to begin your process to recovery, I highly recommend OATC west, and I hope your experience is as life changing as ours has been. I really wish some of the patients that come here, treat the reception and nurse a little better. Today I witnessed some guy just yelling at Taneisha and I honestly wanted to stand up for her but it wasn’t my place and I didn’t want the abuse to turn on me. I’m regretting not saying something though when I get home… I wish I said something. I wish some of you people would realize that if we don’t have any staff to give us our dose, we’re all screwed. Stop burning out the employees of this place! Th y didn’t tell you to start using drugs

I have been to 4 centers previously on my journey to recovery and seeing Valiant Behavioral Health was like a breath of fresh air. It has such a comfortable feel of home to it. It is spacious, the food is amazing, the staff are empathetic, helpful and non judgmental. It truly is an amazing place to be if you're looking to start your own journey of healing from addiction and mental health. It's not crazy expensive like some other centers either. The one downside that I could see is that it's hard to watch the people that don't want to be there because they are still in denial but that's probably the case in most centers. Thank you Valiant Behavioral Health for all that you do!

When I arrived at VBH my addiction had taken control, my depression, anxiety and self esteem were at their lowest. Day 1 was my first day of sobriety and immediately I felt safe, comfort, understood and respected. The entire staff, from the the owner to management to facilitators and counselors were outstanding, but in particular Sam, Red and Samantha (the 3 Sam’s) were vital in my recovery, they approached every session with compassion, knowledge and caring. I loved how they used their own stories to make it more relatable. By the time I left I felt like the fog lifted, I’m confident in my sobriety due to the tools I gained and I’m a much improved version of myself. I would absolutely recommend this facility.

Our mom went to Valiant Behavioural Health centre for almost 30 days. The staff was amazing and so great with communicating how our mom was doing. They treated her like family and gave her tough love, which was what she needed to be successful. I only have good things to say about this centre and would recommend it to anyone who is suffering from addiction. The manager, Dana is “the cat’s meow!” Thank you!!!
