I met with Richard Gregory at Ottawa Osteopathy & Sports Therapy through a referral from my sports doctor after 18 months without seeing any progress on a knee injury. I had a slightly torn meniscus - not bad enough to warrant major surgery, but enough to cause me daily discomfort and cause a number of adjacent issues. After a thorough 1-hour assessment with Richard, he explained the exact cause of my issues and what I needed to do in order to correct them. Notably, the solution wasn't to spend more money and see him more - it was simply to follow the program he laid out for me. The program made sense to me, since he explained the details of my issues and how they would be impacted by the program. I saw more improvement in the following 3-4 week period than I had in the 18 months that had preceeded it. This was nearly 6 months ago, and I can say with confidence the relief I've had was not temporary or fleeting. My knee feels stronger than ever, and I'm more active than I have been in years thanks to the confidence I have after following Richard's program.
