We love everything about this studio. Master S’s experience and expertise in teaching tae kwon do to students of all ages is clear with each class. He is fun loving and truly loves his practice and his students. I have a disability and his inclusive and respectful attitude goes a long way. He and his team truly care. The studio is big and bright with lots of space to practice. Classes are good for all ages and are educational and fun. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about Saroughi Taekwondo Studio! Master Sam is simply amazing with children. From the moment we walked in, my child felt welcomed and comfortable. Master Sam has a unique talent for teaching Taekwondo in a fun and engaging way, making every class an exciting adventure for the kids. The studio is clean, safe, and well-equipped, providing an ideal environment for learning and physical activity. If you're looking for a place where your child can learn discipline, self-confidence, and self-defense skills while having an absolute blast, this is the place to be. We're grateful to have found this gem in our community.

We had my son's birthday party at Saroughi this weekend and it was incredible. Master Sam put on an incredible party and the kids had so much fun. I highly recommend.

Unbelievable experience. We have had such an amazing time at this dojo. My children love every minute of it. They are listening so much more at home and are more confident and in better shape. I highly recommend going and if you want to try it out... Do a birthday party here like we did and see how amazing it is.

I met Tina and Sean at a Judo Canada Event and it was amazing getting to work with them. The Takahashi Family’s textbook “Mastering Judo” was instrumental in me obtaining my Shodan. I used it as much if not more than the Kodokan Judo textbook. I even went as far as importing a copy from the UK as I couldn’t get a print copy in North America. It was a honour to get Tina to sign my copy and I will treasure it forever. If you ever get the chance to train at the Tina Takahashi Dojo I would HIGHLY recommend you do.

Went through the 2 week trial, and if you’re serious about martial arts, there is no other place to look. Instructors are world class, as are the owners. Every style they teach is covered extensively, clearly, and efficiently. This is not just a gym; it’s a school, it’s a place to better your physical, and mental state. Do not come here if you plan on wasting time, they take their craft very seriously, and if you put your 100%, they will give you theirs. Never have I been to such a quality driven dojo, and we are lucky to have a place such as this one in Ottawa.
