PLAYLAND AT THE PNE REVIEWS

Our first time at Playland. We came for the new launch coaster as I have never been on one and this is now the closest one to us. Overall the park was great. Rides were fun and the wait times were pretty reasonable. The longest wait was almost an hour for ThunderVolt but that’s pretty expected since it just opened yesterday. Most other rides were pretty much a walk on or a one cycle wait. Coaster was my favorite ride at the park. It was wild! Lots of airtime. The park was very clean and although not very talkative, the staff were pretty nice. It was a super hot day and there were fans misting water all over the park so that was very much appreciated!

Spent an entire day here on Sunday from open to close. The lines weren’t too bad, the operations were pretty quick, and I enjoyed the rides themselves especially the wooden roller coaster which was the stand out. It was a clean park too, with good access to restrooms, bench seating, and misting fans for a scorching summer day. Will probably be investing in a season pass, because it’s a fun day at a fun place.

PNE is so much fun! Although the roller coaster was closed today, we had a great time! The weather was perfect and almost no line ups at the rides! Atmosphere was definitely our favorite! It's a great spring/summer activity for all ages :) They even have a japanese garden I had no idea about!

GRANVILLE ISLAND WATER PARK REVIEWS

Quite possibly the best free water spray park with a long swirly public slide and two life guards on duty!! Not only that, but there is a nearby duck pond (full of hungry and aggressive geese that steal food lol), a playground for all ages with a manual spinning carousel, a sandbox, a tiny 4-toddler seesaw thing, and a wide low swing. Honestly this place is awesome and it’s also mostly in the shade with TONS of benches and seating areas for parents! There is also a huge adjacent field for picnics and sports, and it’s close by the water in case you want to stroll. It’s at Granville Island so while it’s nice to be near restaurants and the market, it also means parking is non-existent and it’s always busy on the weekends. The good thing is there is a women’s bathroom connected to the park so changing/restrooms are not an issue. Overall a great public space and playground, wished there were more around like this!

Very nice because it’s in an island with interesting shopping and a delicious public market! The water Park has a lot of features spray and slides. plenty of playground and a kids market. Next to a community center with washrooms :) Try to go by boat. Awesome experience.

Great free water park. Lots of sprays and fountains. The big slide was not working when we visited. A great place for families; it's next to a playground. There is shade. There are places to get food nearby.

THE FOX'S DEN (SPLASH PARK) REVIEWS

Added bonus, right beside the splash park is this amazing little beach. Can’t beat a hot day at the beach with the family, strolling over to the splash park, maybe getting some concession snacks! This is deep enough into the park that it’s always less crowded than other parts of the park.

Fun splash pad for kids on a hot summer day. Parking across the street. Clean washrooms and snack bar a stone's thrown away. Next on//to walking/ biking trail. Great view across - Lion's Gate Bridge, North Vancouver and mountains

Down the spray park there is a small beach and if you’re lucky you can see cruises. Very good place to visit with kids. Kids will love this place.
