TOP 3 VANCOUVER ART GALLERY REVIEWS
My visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery was a deeply enriching experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. The gallery's diverse collection of artworks, ranging from classical to contemporary, offered a fascinating journey through various artistic movements and cultural narratives. I was particularly impressed by the exhibitions featuring Canadian artists, which provided unique insights into the country's rich artistic heritage. The thoughtfully curated displays and the gallery's serene ambiance made for a relaxing and inspiring visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing my appreciation of the art with their insights. I had a great time exploring the Vancouver Art Gallery and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in art and culture.
The art gallery was really nice and had some very cool exhibits, including one on a set of paintings by a Group of 7 artist that were proven to be fakes/impressions of the real thing. You could guess what paintings were real and not, and then the method of examining the paintings was explained. The architecture of the building was amazing and it was very nicely renovated from its old life as a courthouse to the art gallery. It retains its historical facade but is modern on the inside.
Interesting to see Modern Arts in this Gallery. There was an Emily Carr's original painting in the highest floor. (4th floor). If you have time please visit here.

TOP 3 BILL REID GALLERY REVIEWS
A wonderful art gallery dedicated to local indigenous arts and crafts - the carvings and jewellery were especially fine. There are informative panels and videos that provide context and it is very well laid out in a nice building. I left feeling better informed about the local culture and the need to protect it as well as having enjoyed looking at beautiful things. Highly recommended!
Amazing little gallery featuring the art work of world renowned artist Bill Reid and other coastal first nations. Great gift shop with mostly Haida art and gifts. Very calm atmosphere and great displays. They have many events planned at the gallery and would be an amazing venue for a wedding or party.
Excellent collection of artwork by this highly influential 1st nation artist and advocate. Very informative and very helpful and engaging staff. Gallery itself is within a quiet oasis of downtown Vancouver. Also showcases work by other artists , definitely worth a visit.
