TOP 3 CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL REVIEWS
I enjoy seeing various churches when I travel. This church was an exceptional experience. The grounds and exterior are exceptional and very well maintained. Walking inside is breathtaking and very peaceful. A volunteer said hello and aswered our questions and explained some of the history of this beautiful building. Vancouver has done an exceptional job of maintaining the historical significance, while building what is now the haert of the city around it. The citizens in the community came together to build this church. Boatbuilders built the trusses, tongue and groove ceilings and pews on their days off work. The craftsmanship is exceptional. The original stained glass window is still in place as are many new artistic contributions. There was no music or sermons at the time of our visit, but tomorrow I am going to live stream the service and music. I have no doubt it too will be exceptional! If you are ever in Vancouver, I would highly recommend visiting this sacred edifice!
A lovely experience of good music performed by good musicians. And the setting in the church with good acoustic made the experience even better. Just one thing that would have made it the best is if they will add more candles around the performers. Will make the visual experience more fascinating.
The cathedral was beautiful with stained glass windows and a unique bell tower with four vertical bells. We went to the evening service when the ladies choir sang some Gregorian chant. Exquisite.

Here's The Rundown: Holy Rosary Cathedral is a renowned church in Vancouver. The Cathedral offers something to every visitor, Catholic or non-Catholic. Holy Rosary Cathedral, which for 123 years has stood as a symbol of the Catholic faith, is a house of God in the heart of this beautiful and vibrant city. Father Patrick Fay held the first mass in 1885, where the initial service was started for 69 Catholic families. The church's first mass was held in 1889 and then enlarged. You can enjoy its French gothic architecture, view its magnificent stained glass windows and the exquisite organ music through which they praise God. Holy Rosary Cathedral was built of sandstone and local granite. People who have visited the Cathedral have reviewed the roofing, the cathedral windows and the Cathedral Crucifix as the main attractions of this architectural masterpiece. The church's doors are open every day and throughout the day.

The whole Cathedral is magnificent and grand. Went here couple months back to hear mass in celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was a the first mass of the day so there were not a lot of people. I got to appreciate the Cathedral more after the mass. The interior is beautiful and calming.

Here's The Rundown: Westside Church is one of the most beautiful churches in Vancouver. The church's mission as a local church includes two parts: first, knowing Jesus and then making Jesus known. The church is essential that they not assume making Jesus known always includes knowing Jesus. They believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who know, love, and glorify one another. Westside Church's Vision is to humbly pursue Jesus' presence, being continuously formed into Jesus' image, for the good of their city as Jesus' Kingdom comes. They participate in their formation together by following the spiritual rhythms that Jesus Himself modelled. Westside Church is a member of the Canadian Conference of MB Churches. The CCMBC is a group of 230+ churches in Canada that hold the same MB Confession of Faith and operate under the CCMBC bylaws.

TOP 3 WESTSIDE CHURCH REVIEWS
They are welcoming and friendly! You can feel the Holy Spirit present in this place. Caution though to those who ignore sin according to the Bible. This church may not be for ”liberal” thinkers as they follow the Bible and teachings of Jesus and not of mankind. The Lord doesn’t change—mankind’s culture does. Remember, Jesus said that the world hated Him first so if people hate you or persecute you for His name’s sake —you are Blessed.
Loved the welcome I received which was warm and friendly as a visitor from overseas. Was offered a coffee after stepping in the door and a Cafe drink afterwards. More importantly though I found the whole service to be uplifting from the songs to the sermon which was inspiring. Would recommend it to anyone and if you are local you couldn't find a better place to worship and be involved. God bless the team as they bring his message to their sphere of influence.
Wow. Great acoustics! What building. These people love Jesus. Very inspiring and empowering. If your looking for a great church. This is the place to be.
