We got the four class package a month and a half before our wedding. We were pretty nervous that we wouldn’t have enough time to learn our dance or master the moves. However, we got to work with both Clara and Joel and they really made it so simple to learn. Joel is so fun and energetic, which automatically made us feel more relaxed. Clara had an incredible eye for detail and gave us super helpful tips to refine our dance moves. Now we’re super excited for our big day and can’t wait to show off our dance moves!

We 100% recommend JC Dance Co! Before taking lessons, we were totally lost and stressed about our first dance. Joel made dancing not so intimidating and gave us the confidence we needed to feel comfortable during our first dance. We ended up having so much fun and our guests commented on how natural we looked. We can also continue to use what we’ve learned in the future!

Joel was awesome. Great energy and taught us everything we needed to know for our wedding dance! At first we tried to learn through a video but in reality all we needed was a few sessions with Joel :)

DBOYERDANCE REVIEWS

In preparation for our wedding, we decided to invest in dance lessons. Neither of us had ever done ballroom dancing but we both wanted our first dance to be extra special and more than just swaying side to side. We didn't really know what to anticipate from our lessons and were a little hesitate to step out of our comfort zones, but in no time at all, Dominic exceeded ALL our expectations. He was incredibly patient and understanding as he choreographed our first dance from scratch, starting from a simple two step to building all the way up to lifts, twists and dips. He made each class fun, exciting and just the right level of challenging. Our classes quickly became a favourite part of our weekly routine - it wasn't just dancing, but a way to reconnect with each other, destress from wedding planning and enjoy the magic of being engaged. Dominic taught us to be confident, to trust each other and to not be afraid to make mistakes. In addition to our first dance, we also took group classes with him to learn the basics of swing, cha-cha and other ballroom dances to develop our skills. Overall we ended up taking about 30 hours of private dance classes and 10 group ones. Our first dance was a major highlight of our wedding for both us and our guests and we could not be more thankful to Dominic for making it happen. My husband and I had no dance experience but wanted to take lessons for our wedding first dance. Dominic was able to teach us the basics and provide us with a choreographed first dance. It was awesome being able to learn from him and to slowly build on what we had learned to get to a finished product! My son and I went there for our Mother and Son dance at his wedding. We wanted something everyone would enjoy and Arthur Murray delivered for us. Even if we weren't perfect, (nobody noticed) we learned lots in our 6 lessons. Julia was creative and patient with us. The dance was a moment we will not soon forget.

We are a 60+ couple who went for our wedding first dance lessons here. We were lucky to get Julia as our instructor. She is amazing. She quickly choreographed an impressive routine for our off-the-wall songs. Shout out for Arthur Murray and Julia!
