Liquid Amber Tattoo is a health board-approved studio that has consistently passed inspections since opening in 2001. We welcome unannounced inspections and maintain strict cleaning and infection-control practices. Before and after every client, we disinfect workstations and appropriate equipment surfaces with OPTIM 33TB, allowing the required contact time before wiping. We use single-use covers for tattoo machines, wash bottles and clip cords, along with disposable bed drapes and ink caps. Ink is never reused. Single-use needles and tubes remain individually sealed until the client arrives. Used needles go into biomedical sharps containers for secure collection and proper disposal. Tattooing supplies are stored in a clean area and handled with gloves. Water used for cleaning and tattooing is distilled on-site and stored in BPA-free containers. Floors are swept and disinfected daily. Ink spills and potentially contaminated areas are cleaned promptly. Our medical-grade sterilization equipment is checked monthly by Germiphene to verify proper functioning.

The staff here are exceptional, friendly and great at what they do. I had a walk-in fine line tattoo, did not have to wait long, the artist was great and I love my new tattoo. The shop is clean and I felt safe and confident having work done here. Would definitely be going back if I lived in the area.

Fay at the fall is amazing!I dropped in to inquire about a blackout cover up and the design she came up with is amazing.Considering I’m an old guy with thin skin her application was pretty painless. I am so impressed I just got her to do an upper sleeve continuation.Beautiful art deco piece that flows flawlessly with her initial piece!Again relatively painless (considering wrist and elbow placement)Can’t recommend her enough,line work and shading is impeccable,such a nice cool lady,looking forward to more work from her.

One of the best places to get a tattoo. The staff was friendly and everything was so clean and welcoming. My tattoo is beautiful and all the artist are extremely talented. I will 1000% be coming back for my next tattoo and I will recommend anyone wanting a tattoo big or small to come here as well.
