My mother who passed in her 99th year had arranged her funeral with Sands years ago. She lived in Vancouver for her last year and I was always concerned what I would happen when she passed. As it turned out Sands was called by the nurse in the early hours of the morning and from there everything was taken care of by Brad in a careful compassionate manner. For the items she had arranged but were no longer appropriate , he was so generous to suggest exchanging for those things we now needed, such as collecting us from the airport and trading the stationary for a lovely arrangement of flowers in her favourite colours. He sent the necessary forms for me to sign and I felt comfortable knowing that all was taken care of. The funeral was exactly what she would have wanted and a great satisfaction for the small family gathering. Brad knows just what to do and say in a personal way, and made us feel that whatever we chose was just right. His timing is impeccable. We all felt the day was perfect. Thank you Brad.

I want to sincerely thank Sands, namely Lindsey, for the service for my best friend. Around the clock Lindsey was available and communicative, honest and extremely compassionate. This was my first major loss and Lindsey helped us navigate every step of the way and I will be forever grateful for her and the entire Sands team. Our family just had a difficult loss. After speaking with several funeral homes in the area, we were most impressed with Earth's Option, in particular, Chris Benesch. We are from a first nation's community on the central coast, and Chris helped us navigate getting our loved one home while respecting our customs and understanding our plight.
