We worked with Nicole on the design and furnishing of our main floor during a major renovation. Nicole really helped us to achieve our vision and select furniture and design features that made our space special. She listened and added great value to our ideas - she exceeded our expectations. Collaborating with Natalie and the entire design team was really key to personalizing the main floor of our home. Marina was a real pleasure to work with. We contacted her after we had purchased a new sofa that just didn’t work with our other furniture items the way we thought it would when we ordered it. We contacted Marina to for her assistance to basically “fix” the room and make it work. Marina came to our home to see the room and immediately set to work. I was very impressed with her professionalism and “can do” attitude. I was worried that she would want to replace everything.. but Marina said she could easily work with what we had and would just make some tweaks and additions which was greatly appreciated. She was very professional and asked us numerous questions and we were most pleased that she was respectful of our wishes and concerns. Marina returned to us with a proposed design very quickly. We were blown away with her attention to details and how she was able to introduce different elements in the room and make it look so very interesting. Basically she turned a boring room into something unusual. Your eye is no longer drawn to just the sofa but to the variety of things around the room. The end result is quite interesting and we couldn’t be more pleased. The whole experience was wonderful. There was no pressure to purchase more than our budget would allow and Marina gave us more than what we asked for and on budget. We loved the fact that Marina chose the items for the room and brought a proposal to us as opposed to going around from store to store with her searching for items. And the best thing was that Marina returned to our home on delivery day with helpers who hung the large pictures for us. It was full service at no extra charge and we just loved that. It made the experience that much more hassle free and we were very grateful. We will definitely use Marina’s services again and highly recommend her. We have been so impressed with the services and support we’ve had from Oakwood. New to renovation, we found the design centre extremely helpful - seeing different room designs and arrays of fixtures, flooring, cabinets etc all in one place allows comparison when one-off pictures do not. And importantly, ruling out what we didn’t want so we could focus on choices in the yes! category. Our project manager and designer were skilled in identifying best options and value for money choices. We really enjoyed a process that initially had made us so nervous. Helping us navigate through so many choices and avoiding mistakes that we’d have to live with was a blessing!

We worked with OakWood in the past to work on out master bedroom and bathroom. Our experience back then was overall very positive, and when we decided to potentially change our kitchen we contacted OakWood again. The designer we were paired with worked with us extensively to show us what our kitchen could look like. When we started, we were not convinced it was worth doing the work, as we weren't sure our house would lend itself to the kind of change we had in mind and were hoping for. Basically what we were lacking was a vision of what was possible in our limited space. OakWood's designer was able to show us several designs of what she thought the kitchen could look like and seeing her ideas sold us on the idea to take on this reno. Together with the designer we were able to quickly and efficiently design a beautiful kitchen, and we found the new approach refreshing and helpful. Being able to come to the design centre and make 75% of all of our decisions and product choices right there and then was huge. And our designer was fantastic in understanding our wants and needs for the space and made some key changes and recommendations that make the kitchen such a great space to work and be in now. Once demolition started, the project was handed over to to OakWood's Project Manager. And we can't say enough about how great the PM was. As in any reno, we encountered several surprises and issues, but he dealt with them all in such a calm and measured way that we felt confident at all times that our project was in good hands. Now that the kitchen is done, we have been thoroughly enjoying our new space. We love every single aspect of our kitchen, and I can't think of a single thing we would have done differently. I am also confident that if we hadn't chosen OakWood and hadn't gotten to work with their designer, PM, and their respective teams, the experience and end result would not have been nearly as positive.
