West of Main Design

West of Main just finished a major renovation of our turn of last century city house. They made the whole process a pleasure from start to finish. They came up with a vision for the design and worked with all the different trades to bring it to life. The whole team is so talented - they took care of every detail and made it all so easy. They sourced an antique Persian rug and incorporated some family antiques and artwork into their design. They didn’t design the backyard but provided consulting support and selected furniture and other decor items. Their experience was invaluable in designing the open plan main floor where it was important that the different space worked together well. The project was delayed to start with due to supply chain issues, but once started was on time and on budget. I highly recommend them for any renovation project.

West of Main made the experience of building our custom home enjoyable and stress-free! When we purchased our vacant, waterfront land, we contacted the West of Main team to help, after resonating with their aesthetic and learning about the turnkey service that they have created for their clients. They introduced us to the builder and together with the architect, they produced a floorplan that checked all our boxes! WoM drove the design direction from the start, producing the design package, selecting all of the finishes and fixtures, and they presented us with great visuals to portray their vision. We were outside of the country during the building process, and trusted WoM to do their thing and have our best interest at heart. They essentially took care of everything and they were on-site frequently. We love our home and the new furniture pieces and look forward to raising and growing our family here. When we purchased a new home with great bones and location - we immediately brought on the West of Main team to help us renovate it to make it our own! We shared our wishlist with them which was not only to refresh all the rooms, but also to find a way to add a home gym and a dream closet space. They reworked the second floor to make it happen and created functional, personalized spaces that also suited our style. They also furnished and decorated the interior and exterior spaces. One of the things we loved the most about the service was the fact that they took care of everything for us, making the process so easy...we didn't have to lift a finger! They were so collaborative with the contractor and were on-site often to make sure everything was going smoothly during the remodel. They include thoughtful touches throughout the process and we loved the "grand reveal" walkthrough once everything was in place. As frequent travellers, we always look forward to returning to our home and we can thank the WoM team for that. We will definitely continue to refer them and will hire them again in the future when we have new projects!
