This place is absolutely the top for quality work and business integrity. I have worked with them for many years, on numerous projects, including some really quirky items, and everything has only ever been perfect. With the owner, Denis, you're never rushed, he has very helpful ideas (including knowing when to steer you away from certain choices). The shop (and all the staff) are totally down to earth -- no pretensions here, just sincere helpfulness.

Recently, Denis worked very closely with me to make a custom bed for a unique space. The bed is a perfect fit, exactly what was needed and is very comfortable. It was also a very reasonable price and service was fast and reliable. Twenty years ago we had two small beds made from them for our basement, and they are still very comfortable after all this time.

Great experience dealing with Denis - he built us a custom mattress, and when we didn't like one side, he picked up the mattress and changed the firmness, with no questions asked. Very happy with Hardy - highly recommended!
