Take the time to stop into the Roundhouse and chat with the curator. He has a wealth of knowledge. We appreciated his time giving us the history of the brilliant train engine and the city.
Did you know they actually take the engine out every year, the Sunday before Victoria Day, to celebrate the occasion with the community.
Check out this and the other activities that you can do too.
This is one of the most beautiful community centres I’ve been to. The building itself is gorgeous. They offer a wide variety of classes and there seems to be something for everyone. The instructors and staff are very helpful and friendly.
This is a great museum to take children... historical information is in abundance, and how many places remain where can you see and actually enter the cab of a historic steam engine. No admission fee, but donations are accepted.
